Romantic Piano Concert – November 2011

The Society of Spain hosts again its annual concert. The theme this year is ROMANTIC SPAIN, and will feature compositions by Enrique Granados and Manuel de Falla, in addition to the Spanish Rhapsody, by Franz Liszt, to commemorate the 200 anniversary of his birth.

The acclaimed pianist Carlos Cesar Rodriguez, who last year delighted the audience with the Suite Iberia, by Isaac Albéniz, will play also this time, at the United Church, in Foggy Bottom, 1920 G St. N.W.

The program includes GOYESCAS and EL PELELE, by Granados, and EL AMOR BRUJO by Manuel de Falla.

The concert will start at 7:30 pm.The closest metro station to the United Church is Farragut West, on the orange and blue lines
