The Casal Català de Washington DC cordially invites you to celebrate the National Day of Catalonia with two events:

  • September 9th @ 6pm: Joan Dausa in Concert

  • September 17th @ 1:30pm: Family Bbq in Rook Creek Park

Joan Dausa, song writer, musician and actor, is well known for winning the Guadi award (the Catalan Oscar awards) for the soundtrack of the film “Barcelona nit d’estiu”. “Lost in a tale” is his first album in English.

Minimum contribution: please, note that we appreciate a minimum donation of US10$ per adult or US20$ per family (includes children up to 14 years old or younger] to cover the expenses of this event. Donations at the door will be $15 per adult and $30 per family.

We encourage to make your reservations early as the venue has a capacity of 150 people.

Come and join a Family BBQ organized by the Casal Catala de Washington DC a traditional get together of the Catalan community to commemorate the National Day of Catalonia

What: Family Barbecue
Day: Sunday, Sept 17th, 2017
Time: From 1:30 pm to dusk
Where: Rock Creek Park – Zone #10 (click here to see map)

The Casal Català will supply the meat, drinks and some appetizers; please, bring special dishes or deserts.

We will start the set up at noon, volunteers are welcomed. Please send us an email at casalcatalawdc@gmail.com with your contact information and we will add you to our volunteer distribution list.
