The Escolania de Montserrat –Catalonia’s premiere boys’ choir and one of the oldest music schools in Europe– performs in the United States for the first time in the history of their 800-year-old musical tradition. Hailing from Benedictine Abbey and Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat near Barcelona, these enchanting choristers present a concert of music from Montserrat from the Middle Ages to the present. Under the direction of Bernat Vivancos, the Escolania uses music to cross boundaries and bring “peace and joy to anyone who hears them” (Radio La Voz de Rusia).

This concert will run approximately 110 minutes with intermission.
