12pm — Family Barbeque at Rock Creek Park (area #7)

How to get there?

  • By bike: join a group of people who are going to meet in Dupont Cercle at 11am (contact person: Raimon Puigjaner raimonplg@gmail.com or at (202) 549-2494.
  • By car: see the map (click here). Please, note that participants going to the area #7 by car must drive from the intersection of Joyce Road and Beach Drive.
  • By metro: the closest metro station is Friendship Heights (Red Line). If you are planning to go by metro and need a ride to the Park, please contact Christian Hailer at christian.hailer@gmail.com or at (202) 631-8650.

What do you have to bring? The Casal Català will supply the meat, some appetizers, water, and soft drinks; please, bring your drinks and special dishes, and contribute to this family event. Note that alcoholic beverages are forbidden in the Park.

How much it will cost? Once there, and according to your confirmation, we will calculate the cost per     person. There will be a price per family and per individual. Please, bring cash (or checks) to the Park.

7pm — Classical Music Concert at Dacor Bacon House

Where? The Dacor is located at 1801 F Street, NW in Washington, DC.

When? The concert will start at 7.30pm but we encourage all participants to be there at 7pm to assure that everybody has been accommodated so that we could start on time.

We have received some economic support from sponsors and institutions, but contributions are welcome.

The concert is expected to take 1 hour long. The evening of classical music will be followed by a reception with the traditional cava toast to celebrate the National Holiday of Catalonia.

Children and friends are welcome. Please, be sure that you have confirmed your attendance.
