Sant Jordi 2019 @ Kensington International Day of the Book Festival

El Casal Catala de Washigton DC celebra Sant Jordi amb llibres, teatre i sardanes al Festival Internacional del Llibre de Kensington @ Armory Avenue and Howard Avenue, Kensington Antique Row, Kensington Md 20895

Com ja és tradició, tindrem una parada amb roses, llibres i manualitats. A les 2 de la tarda, representarem la llegenda de Sant Jordi, i a 1/4 de 3 farem un taller de sardanes al Children Stage.

Necessitem voluntaris per ajudar-nos a la parada de roses i llibres. Apunta’t a fer que la festa sigui un èxit!

Casal Catala of Washington DC joins again the Kensington International Day of the Book Festival in celebrating the Catalan origins of the Day of the Book, Sant Jordi.

Activities from Casal Catala WDC:

• 11 am to 4:00 pm – Books and Roses giveaways and children arts and crafts
• 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm –  The Legend of Sant Jordi – theater play @ Children Stage
• 3:15 pm to 3:50 pm –  Taller de Sardanes – Join this workshop to learn how to dance Sardana, the traditional Catalan dance.

We are looking for volunteers to man the Casal Catala tent at the festival to support in the children arts and craft activities and the Books and Roses giveaway.
